Chinese Tea Culture China is the homeland of tea, with over five thousand years of tea culture history. According to legend, Shen Nong was boiling water outdoors when leaves fell into the water, becoming the earliest tea. Chinese tea is divided into six main categories: green tea, black tea, white tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, and dark tea. Among these, Longjing tea, Tieguanyin, and Pu-erh tea are the most famous. Drinking tea in China is not just a dietary habit, but also a cultural art form. The tea ceremony emphasizes four words: "stillness, elegance, harmony, and authenticity." In China, serving guests always involves tea — tea represents respect and friendliness.
